ALL BLACK

To paraphrase Gabrielle Chanel, one of my favorite colors is black (although, technically, black isn’t really a color but still).

I like being dressed in black from head to toe because it’s simple, chic and sharp. However, this requires high quality clothing, accessories which will bring out the ocean of blackness, as well as luminous makeup for a radiant look.

Not respecting these three rules may lead to looking like a priest, a robed barrister, a barrister with robes made out of black curtains, or even a zombie with pallid skin, exorcized by a priest and defended by a barrister (with a nice robe or a curtain-robe – no one would even care at this stage, really…).

ANYWAY.

I decided to enhance this simple black outfit, a slit skirt and a little jumper, with geometric black tights, a vintage golden Moschino necklace and a classic red lip by Chanel (yes, we just keep on coming back to it because it’s very hard to go wrong with Chanel but if you do mess up your makeup, just go for sunglasses! No one will ever overstate the numerous, versatile advantages of sunglasses).

I dare say I managed to avoid the priest, barrister and zombie looks 😉
