I guess that this 2020 Christmas will be remembered as a very special day marking an even more special year.
My dear teenager (well she is not a teenager anymore since she is 21, ANYWAYS, who fled London a few days ago as the border closure was announced while she was already on the Eurostar, THANK GOD) took pictures of my evening outfit, channeling her little brother’s and her little sister’s mood who never imagined that Christmas’ magic could be eclipsed by a stupid virus (and they were so right).
A suspended moment, a timeless moment filled with boundless gratefulness, love and empathy: this is what Christmas 2020 is and will remain to me 😉
