SERRES D’AUTEUIL

Yellow has been such a trendy color in Paris lately, right?

Here am I, in the Serres d’Auteuil botanical gardens. The creation of the majestic greenhouses dates back to 1761, under the reign of King Louis XV.

The five main hothouses, which architecture dates back to the end of the 19th century, were built in the middle of the gardens. The Serres d’Auteuil gardens welcome collections of rare plants and remarkable trees, a palm house and a beautiful aviary.

Today the greenhouses produce about 100,000 plants per year for the interior decoration of municipal buildings.
